Good news for Cingular customers

Just thought I would let Cingular customers around Pahoa know there is a new wireless tower going up in the new shopping center. This should mean less dead spots for many areas around Pahoa and hopefully down toward Kalapana.
They are just putting in the substructures now so it will be awile before the thing is up and running but it is a start.

That is good news! Last month I complained to them about poor coverage in HPP. They told me there was to be one or two more towers going up or being "realigned" to help with the lower end of HPP. They also said the tower network was bought up by a Hong Kong company that is dumping a lot of money into the system to make it one of the best available. Time will tell.
