Job Searching Skills for Individuals with Employment Barriers
Employers want to hire you for your skills, your knowledge and your dedication. Having one or more significant “barriers” to employment does not prevent you from going to work.
In this class you will:
learn how to approach your resume, application process and interview to present yourself in a positive way to a prospective employer.
learn how to answer tough questions without fearing a negative response.
discover how to prepare for your background check in advance.
learn the best ways to let the employer know you have mandated meetings or classes or other health related issues that may require you to leave the work site.
We will share access to community resources that will support your success.
