Hilo signal work 3/22

The Department of Public Works Traffic Division will conduct maintenance work on Hilo traffic signals at the Kanoelehua Avenue and Maka‘ala Street intersection on Wednesday, March 22, and on the Kanoelehua Avenue and Kawailani Street intersection on Sunday, April 2.

Work is scheduled between  8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather conditions permitting.

Good day to skip the Big Retail Area...

I went through there today and the signal was off but they had 2 police officers directing traffic. Was actually the smoothest trip through that intersection that I recall.
