USPS new(?) change delivery address feature
#1
Noticed this when I was tracking a package today:

"Want to authorize your USPS® carrier to drop off your package when no one’s home for delivery? It’s easy. And you can even have your package left in a specific area of your home or business, with a neighbor, or have it delivered to another address.

To begin, please sign in to your USPS.com® account."

Anybody ever use this and have it work? You know, for those times when shippers say WILL NOT SHIP TO A PO BOX, so you give them your home address, where the USPS will not deliver, and then the shipper mails the item to an address that can't receive mail.

I have done all of the above Terracore with perfect success rate.

I see more a potential problem @ the local end of the spectrum more than the system itself in terms of the leave it @ the neighbors house one.

Make sure you do it initially NOT correct it BC that is a PITA and there is a nice extra charge for this.
