I too appreciate and sympathize with your ordeal sister, but taking what Tom suggested to heart, as well as since you stated you are near settlement and/or trial, I am quite sure your attorney would have, should have and will tell you to SHUT UP!

Posting ANYTHING about your ongoing legal case on a public blog can come back and bite you really hard.

Seconded. Just be quiet and let the attorney do his or her job, not making it even harder on them. Anything you say can and will be used as evidence unless it's between you and your lawyer.
