Any propane stove will work -- the problem is the glow bar that lights the oven -- that specialty Hotpoint is one of the rare exceptions. Home Depot has a propane guy come and do the conversion before you take delivery, doing it yourself voids the warranty.
The little Magic Chef is great until the fan fails. Covered under extended warranty, but I ended up buying a second fridge while I waited. Cycle it off at night with a timer. Specialty DC fridges aren't usually worth it.
Hilo Propane will sell you the adapter hose to connect a "portable" propane appliance to a 5-gallon tank. They also have some nice stove hardware.
