Hilo protest ?
#11
"Oh wait...I read most of your back and forth from last night"

So then, you're OK with a poster demanding that you be required to post your personal identifying information to prove you are who you say you are?

Does demanding that cross the line? Or does responding to that demand cross the line?

"Damned if you do, damned if you don't." Right?

"Time to drop this now and continue on with the thread topic?"

I'd love to! So maybe Punatang could enlighten us on just what they wanted to post about the Hilo protests in this Hilo protest thread instead of making a post about wanting to post something about the Hilo protests in a thread that was about 300 people attending a town hall meeting.

Since that was what started all of this off topic banter now, isn't it?

I never said I was okay with someone asking you to post personal information. IMHO, you both crossed the line.

Quit making ASSumptions.

Well, I thought we we’re going to "…drop this now and continue on with the thread topic…”  so then I will say this as a final response.

The one thing I have learned from you Ms. Wao, and quite frankly, deeply admire you for doing, is standing up to ANYONE whom you feel has misrepresented what you said, or in any way makes you feel “wronged” as to what has been said, especially if it’s said directly about you. And you will relentlessly defend yourself against that. No matter how many posts you have to make to defend yourself.

And as I said, I really admire you for doing that. Fortunately, or unfortunately, as the case may be, I share that same need to relentlessly defend myself as well.

So, while not asking for any response to this, but is it that need for relentless defense that crosses a line, or is it the poster than makes you have to relentlessly defend yourself the one who crosses the line?

Now, having said that, we can agree to agree, or we can agree to disagree, whatever you desire is fine with me.

So, how’s about we agree that it’s “Time to drop this now and continue on with the thread topic” as I am just dying to hear what Punatang wanted to post about the Hilo protests. Here in the Hilo protest thread.

Done deal.

Now, how's about we work TOGETHER and ask, beg, cajole, say pretty please with sugar on top and everything we can think of to get Punatang to please share what it is they claimed they wanted to post about the Hilo protests?

Here on the Hilo protest thread.

What do you say?

I just realized that I misspoke (typed)  I meant to say that I wanted to add to the thread that I had a link to in my post (to make it really clear and obvious).  I'm sure all of you mature, non-lawyers knew exactly what I meant but apologies for the mistake.  Also apologies to the OP for derailing your thread.  Aloha all.  Puna Spring has arrived.
I wish you all the best

Mahalo nui loa, Rob!

I have been mostly avoiding Punaweb the past couple weeks or so because it had/has been pretty much taken over...

Look forward to reading actual local news, information, and healthy civil discourse.
