Down by MacKenzie State Beach on the Red Road (just north of the entrance to the Park) there is a sign for a coffee mill. There is a long driveway and it looks like the property goes almost down to the boat ramp area. We have been past there many times and it always has a "closed" sign hanging there. Does anyone know about this Puna Coffee Mill? Is it for real? Is it a co-op mill for people who grow their own? We have been there in almost every season of the year and it is always closed. I am going to be doing an article on Big Island Coffee (everything BUT Kona)and this place interests me, but I don't want to get shot going in there.
Just curious.
