Vote Early ------ Vote
#1
The Primary Election approaches on Saturday, September 20th. This is an important election.

Exactly how "implemented" the Puna Community Development Plan (PCDP) is will depend to a great
degree on our new mayor and council.

We have been successful in supporting the PCDP to passage into law. Now we need to elect capable people
of good purpose to carry everything forward.

Vote Early!

The Pahoa Democratic Caucus had a turnout of over 1,000 people. That was huge. Very longs lines. If the upcoming voting events
are anything like that you might want to vote early (walk in voting opens today through Sept. 18th) or by absentee ballot. Voting early might save you some hours standing in line. Of course sometimes standing in a election line is kinda festive.

Voting is open at the Eletions office in the Malama Marketplace in Pahoa Village.

But do vote.

Assume the best and ask questions.

The newspaper reported that only 12 people voted yesterday at the Pahoa office.

I know I was 1 of the 12!

Simple, easy, no waiting in lines, and it will free up a few hours on Election Day!
