Growing Herbs and Cooking.... (which I love but dont do either well!!)
Sonia is a friend of mine and sent this to me:
Next week, May 12, is a special workshop for Mother's Day when Barbara teams with Sonia Martinez, food columnist, gourmet cook and restaurant reviewer for Hawaii Island Journal. You will pick herbal bouquets for moms in the garden, then Sonia will show us how to make herbal butters, herbed chevre, pesto sauce and more. Lots of taste testing!
Last but not least, don't forget that this Sunday, May 6, is the annual Panaewa Zoo plant sale. Barbara will be there with her books and herbal products, so be sure to stop by and say hello from 9:00 until about 4:00.
