I should have said "no time to say more" as I was out the door. My wife and I went to the Palace for champion bodyboarder/bodysurfer icon Mike Stewart's big screen preview of his new movie(actually, he showed it to his homies in Kona last night.

We had a blast along with the eclectic mix of seniors, keiki, and various young surf sub genres.

Mike was there himself to introduce the movie, and after, to answer questions and give some prizes.

It wasn't your typical "surf movie" with hard driving rock and a long repetitive string of tube rides. The sound track was a good mix of instrumental, Pink Floyd, electronic, and some indigeonous digerido kinda stuffs.

Mike presents a positive message of family, living your passion, and respecting the planet. The photography of him dropping and his hand held video from inside the tube are breathtaking.

I'm going to Pohoiki tommorow.

I give the film two thumbs up.[8D]
