Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of the opening of the Kalapana Lava viewing site. The staff and vendors are arranging an unofficial celebration with lei, and other ho'okupu. They are doing this entirely on their own to express their appreciation to the public. I know the weather's pretty sucky, but please feel free to stop by if you have a chance.
