What is a good counter top water filter system, for catchment water?

I just encountered an on-line seller: www.freshwatersystems.com. Ordered a pump and small components to pump bottled water up one story and feed just the fridge ice system and a separate faucet. Haven't received shipment yet (opted for Parcel Post).

Phone tech support rep was very knowledgeable and sez they have many catchment customers in HI. Though off-point we discussed ours here.

BTW, anyone have experience w/ local bottled water sources? I've met the family-owned biz in Shipman Park /The Water Man/ and was impressed by their small spotless operation. With senior discount competitive w/ Home Depot.

We have uv on the main pump and reverse osmosis for the kitchen drinking water and ice maker. Reverse osmosis got on-line and had plumber install. works well and seems to be what the bottled water folks use.
