The next meeting of the Puna Community Development Plan Steering Committee
is Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kea`au Community Center.

Items on the agenda that may be of interest to Puna residents include:

* Discussion and comment on the Alternate Corridors and Mass Transit portions of the Transportation Working Group Reports.

* Discussion and approval of draft letter to Hawaii County Council requesting a resolution calling for a pause on approvals for requests to up zone any parcels in Puna until adoption of the Puna CDP.

* Transportation Issues – Report on proposed first round of public meetings with Parsons Brinckerhoff (transportation consultant).
Discussion on Steering Committee role in broadening community participation and input.

Someone asked where this meeting was taking place....

The Keaau Community Center is across the street from the Keaau shopping center on the MCDonald's / gas statiion side of the road.

Behind the police station is a medical clinic and then the Keaau Community Center with a large shade tree over the parking lot.
