Aloha Punatics,
For those of you who listen in on scanners and shortwave radio there will be a Big Island Simulated Emergency Test (BISET) Sat. 06 Oct2007, 10-12:00.
This year's emergency scenario will be a big earthquake so if you hear all sorts of strange radio traffic on Saturday morning about an earthquake you didn't feel, don't worry about it - it's just a test. It will start on 7.088 MHz and there will also be some "emergency" traffic on 40 meters and 2 meters as well.
A hui hou!
