You need to locate a sawmill.
Assume the best and ask questions.

You didn't way what the intended use is, but if you need for growing mushrooms or composting toilet etc the livestock section of Walmart has those compressed livestock bedding pellets that turn into sawdust when it gets wet. The feed stores have them as well but they will cost 3x as much. At Walmart they are hot sellers like all their livestock stuff is so if they don't have it you might have to check back.
It is the same product that they also sell for pellet stoves they just put them in a different bag and say they are for livestock bedding. You can also order them from the ace website and will ship to the Pahoa or Keaau store for free: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/...ts/4739447 Though those are softwood variety and may not be good for growing mushrooms depending on what variety you want to grow.

Pahoa feed sells huge coconut coir bricks that may work in your application, and might be more economical in the long run. And no trip to Walmart.
