Hmm, I've seen that in real estate listings, as it sometimes generates "price dropped" or "price is going up, buy now" alerts for people searching an area. Maybe a similar effect for vacation seekers?

So maybe they’re experimenting with listing position? Seems like a one difference would have little effect.
I can see going from $150 down to $149, though.
