Jupiter and Venus sky gazing this month
#1
Jupiter and Venus are putting on a little show this month.  With some clear skies last night Venus was very bright, and Jupiter wasn't bad, either.  The moon will be joining in around the 21st and 22nd.

When we first moved to Hawaii, one of our favorite things was sky gazing.  I still find the beauty of clear night skies here breathtaking.

Clear skies?! I havenʻt even been able to see the moon since it was full at the beginning of the month.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Clear skies?!

When we had clear skies last month there were times Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, lined up in western sky after sunset, and Mars shined overhead.  One or two of the dimmer planets too, Mercury and Uranus if I recall.  Pleaides-Subaru-Makali'i glowed all evening.  I saw the Chinese space station one night, it's brighter now that they've added more modules last year.  Blue Walker as well, the single prototype for future mulitple coordinated advertising satillites if they can pull it off, or perhaps I should say get away with it.

Kalianna,
I had some clear sky last night. I was shocked!

HOTPE,
It always seems like I am on the mainland working or have overcast skies when there is the possibility of seeing something spectacular in the sky.
