Can someone explain to me what this is about? All I get is audio - no video. I am interested in seeing what the Hawaii connection is. I'm keeping a limit on Punaweb being about Puna and Hawaii.
If this is a "cause" of some national or world import I will be removing it.

its about human beings, and Hawaii / puna is full of humans.

Rob, it is about the inhuman way animals are treated. I worry about the way dogs are treated here, on chains for life. I worry about the cruel way wild pigs are hunted down and injured first by the dogs, although I have heard there is a much kinder way to hunt pigs.
This is all about Puna, and a wakeup call for all of us to be better humans and have a better community.
But if you would like to remove this, I will understand.

It's only about Puna in the same way as WWIII would be or global warming in general or any other topic of national or world interest. Not Puna specific at all.

Carrie I'm with you on this, I know I just can't watch it. I thank Nancy for bringing this to our attention, however please, we are all quilt. Quilt doesn't help, in me it causes parallelization. What we can do is be aware and learn from the past. We can become a community to be proud of and to enjoy living in.
We can't go back and redo decisions we made in the past that we might regret (everyone has some regret!), they were sound decisions at the time and consistent with our understanding at the time.
We can learn, plan ahead and do better in the future. That is our responsibility I believe to each do what they are able to further sustainability, energy conservation and generation, eat locally and healthily, and be thoughtful of our world.
Sorry I'm babbling, but I truly can't watch this video. I have trouble going into town and seeing people struggling with their purchase decisions at the grocery, struggling to make the best decisions for their families with the means available to them.

The video is about unnecessary cruelty of killing the animals in the process of making them a food,like "dehorning" without anesthesia,etc.
