Pohoiki Paina ~ Mahalo to our Community
#1
From the Kealoha Estate:

Pohoiki Paina ~ Mahalo to our Community

On behalf of the James & Miulan Kealoha ohana, mahalo to all who participated in the community gathering at Issac Hale Beach Park on December 11, 2010. As we all plan for the future of Pohoiki, it was heartwarming to experience the outpouring of interest and support from all of our community. I trust that together, we can provide a better future for our children without sacrificing our culture, heritage, and history.

A special mahalo to Mr. Litnus Tonga, our Executive Assistant & Mr.Harley Tripp of Puamaeole Productions, whose tireless efforts in coordinating our paina defy superlatives.

Mahalo to our entertainers for their mele and setting the ambiance of the day, and to the various organizations that provided important information and ono food to our community.

As I sat with the keiki talking about what they want and need in Pohoiki from their point of view, the light in their eyes reminded me what our obligation is for the future. Kaulana na pua a'o Hawai'i.

There are no English words to express my heartfelt mahalo to all. If you were not able to join us this time, please visit our website: www.kealohaestate.com , to make suggestions or leave comments as we begin the process of planning the future of the Kealoha property in Pohoiki.

Ua mau ke ea o ka aina i ka pono.

Warmest aloha,

Kuulei Kealoha Cooper-Springer, Trustee
