It has been 15 months in the process. It was supposed to be a simple and quick building project. Uh huhhhh.
I posted a number of pictures while it was in the early and mid stages. WAY back then, I was calling it 'a shop'. No one who saw it believed it was 'just a shop'. So I'll call it an artist studio. Now I've got a picture montage you can see of the ALMOST completed project:

The good news is that this part of the project is almost done. Finish wiring and final inspection pending.
The bad news is that I doubt that I will begin the actual house part of the project. Circumstances change. My REAL home, life, and wife is in Brazil. Due to her health and the lack of decent and/or affordable medical care here, she would not be a happy camper trying to live here. In Brazil, we pay about $120/month each for top-notch medical insurance there and have access to any medical specialty in a day or two plus immediate no hassle CAT scans, Ultrasounds, Doppler echo-cardiograms, blah, blah, blah. Our full dental insurance is less than $20/month.
So, to make a long story short, I will be selling sooner than later. Probably within a month. Sometime soon, I'll put the details over on the Non-Classified board. Someone else will get a great lot with this structure on it, permits for a cute house, the septic installed, fully landscaped and fenced... And I will get to keep my long suffering wife.
