awesome replacement battery for ryobi power tools
#1
I'll never drill into lava rock with a NiCad battery powered drill again.

My three NiCad batteries for my rybobi tools were all worn out and worthless and I was looking into lithium ion replacements but was disappointed to learn than in addition to the very expensive batteries I would also have to buy a new charger! So I kept looking and I found an after market brand that uses NiMH batteries that charge on the old charger but pack as much (or more) juice than a Li-Ion battery. I was skeptical but went for it. The battery is awesome, it lasts longer on one charge than all 3 of the NiCads combined. It is as heavy as the NiCad batteries (the Li-Ions are smaller and lighter) but a fraction of the cost. The one thing you have to worry about is that the battery lasts so long that it will literally burn a drill out if you are using a cordless to drill fence posts in lava. I've had mine for about 18 months and although it functions as good as new, I just bought two more because I'm afraid they won't be available some day and they recently dropped in price from $34 to $22, which is half the price of a ryobi battery on sale (and no need to upgrade charger). But if weight is important to you, you don't want this battery.

I just cancelled my order for two separate batteries because I found this listing which is a two-pack of the same batteries for only $39 and got this instead: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VWK...tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=pw016-20&linkId=3cf4a121f87c997a86f77bcc7f243ea6 Hopefully they work as good as the one I have
