Amazon Part Finder
#1
Looking for a bolt? A washer, or other part? Amazon now has a feature that identifies the item by sending them a few photos on their app. I haven’t used it yet, but it looks like a good idea in situations when you don’t need to finish a repair immediately, or if you know it’s something not always in stock at a local store:

If you're looking for something less specific you can also go to images.google.com and click the camera icon and upload an image of what you are looking for. It will compare it to all the other images google has and spit out what it thinks are closest matches. It is especially useful if you are thinking of buying something on craigslist, or renting a property, or meeting a person, because all those images are usually lifted off the internet and google will show where it came from.
