More than 400 items belonging to Hawaiian royalty descendant Abigail Kawananakoa are headed for the auction block.
It’s said she needs the money, that her estate was mismanaged, she doesn’t realize these items are being sold, and the person listing them doesn’t have the authority to do so. The auction is online, so bidders can be from anywhere in the world.
One would think Abigail Kawananakoa, as a supporter of Hawaiian causes would prefer the items stay in state, perhaps in the Bishop Museum?
