Need a window repair recommendation

Need a recommendation for someone to fix a broken slider windo pane. Vinyl slider that the glass broke out....any one have a recommendation on reliable glass repair person(this is for a friend that is off-island, we are helping clean up, but have no idea who direct them to call - reliable & such, for the replacement glass & have no idea how to do the vinyl replacement - so this is a job for a professional)

The fixed window pane broke....There are a few tempered glass fragments left in the groove, we have vacuumed up everything else...The vinyl frame has a ring of framing parts around the opening, but no visible means of attachment, do not know if they are press-fit or what...and it is not our house & the friends are off island & we don't want to make anything worse, so ....

Ha ha. I know this is a REALLY old thread, but, Carey, did you ever find anyone?

I have a shattered patio door. I can get the replacement panel of glass, but don't know of anyone who can remove/replace it. The seal must be cut, the old panel removed, and the new one installed and sealed.
