"Decent" is a very restrictive word.

What is decent for one person, might be junk for another.

The person of this property in Puna describes it as:

Alot like camping, only cuter. Beautiful property, sustainable community living, organic permaculture, community outdoor kitchen, bathhouse with hot shower and running water. Possible work trade for partial rent. Can move in with deposit for one months rent and one months rent. Wireless DSL...

And it's very reasonably priced at $350.00

And I hope this gives you a little info on your question: I just need to know the situation on the market

This spot for rent!

Heck, gotta try yeah?

You probably will have a better chance finding an ohana than a 1BD house. Small houses like those are considered as unconventional homes (hard to sell) and nobody builds them. The few existing ones are used as vacation rentals.

StillHope,

I have a nice small one bedroom Ohana near Pahoa, full bath, full kitchen and washer, dryer, unfurnished. It's on 6/10 of an acre and fully fenced. I didn't plan on renting it out (it was for my sister and friends when visiting) but because of certain circumstances I may change my mind. If you're interested email me.

Thanks,

Garrett

Nadya -

When is it ever really cold here in Hawaii... can you expand on this? If your worried about your dog being hot in Hawaii... then this might not be the place for you guys.... well at least the "SOB".

Rob,please, delete this thread.I placed it in the other part of forum to research the rental availability. If it stays in this part,it would be considered a request, which is different.I might need it in winter.
Thank you all for the responses.
