question: real estate tax CLAIM FOR HOME EXEMPTION

I'm sending in my real estate tax home exemption form and I'm paranoid that it will go into a black hole.

After you send in the form, do you receive any acknowledgement?

Mailed it in, called a couple of weeks later "to check", guy asked about my shack over the phone ("it's rectangular? how big? has a lanai or carport?") and flagged my TMK for exemption without even coming out to see.
