Call for Board members
HOFA Ohana;
Aloha!
HOFA is reaching out to the organic community, for help to once again become the pre-eminent, educational and networking organization for organics in Hawaii. We hope to work with organic farmers to share knowledge, initiate research and increase organic production in our state. HOFA is looking for individuals who wish to submit their information to join the Board of Directors.
We are also forming new committees, which include outreach/membership, education/research, and market development. You may serve on a committee without becoming a board member.
Persons wishing to help us should possess these qualities:
1. a passion/devotion for building the local organic food value chain, from production to distribution to consumption,
2. a willingness to actively participate in HOFA governance, operations, programming and/or fund development.
Please submit a resume and a statement outlining your vision for the future of HOFA and your special qualities to: Una Greenaway, una@hawaii.rr.com.
Deadline for submittal, June 30, 2015.
