Likely many off grid folks know that recent gas stoves use varying amounts of electricity with the coils that are used for ignition. Often 300 watts, and some stay on all the time. Some only when cooking.
In any case, Home Depot online has a stove available that uses battery ignition and nothing else. Simple and straightforward, without fancy controls.

The point of this post is that it is free shipping in a week or two to your home. I suspect this is some sort of online error, and I will update if/when it gets screwed up. Nevertheless, I ordered online and it went through so far.
Similarly, couple weeks ago I found a high end two bowl sink with faucet, quite large and heavy with free shipping. A week later it was delivered to a business address via UPS.

That’s no where near the size and weight of a stove, but still doesn’t make much sense when most every big item says it doesn’t ship to Hawaii. And going through the in store online ordering through CA and on the boat often has shipping charges attached by the manufacturer.
