I no longer see it on the gofundme page. Can anyone confirm it's no longer there? I checked using firefox and chrome, but on a tablet so that's not always 100% reliable. I couldn't see that image on the source html either, but might have missed it.

There is an avatar icon of that picture on the gofundme page, so if shoresresident is simply playing with words he or she has some explaining to do.

As for having nothing to do with our time, I think spending a few minutes trying to figure out if someone is a scammer or not is well worth it. Previous history of asking for $10K donations should make people suspicious.

The collateral damage done by scammers is substantial. Most of us would help those truly in need much more often if it weren't for the fear of being "played".

This is what I dislike about Punaweb and why I do not recommend or post very often.
After discovering puna weather on Facebook, I found there are many local groups that cover just about any topic in East Hawaii without the rhetoric!

Hawaii Tribune Herald obituary for Mary Keller 8/3/14 lists a large family. Shoresresident and Elmer Keller Jr are brother and sister. He has not posted on Punaweb and is probably unaware of his sisters' posting.
From the Instagram pictures of his children and his writings, I am impressed, he obviously loves and cares for his children! If he is going through a rough patch, I see nothing wrong in asking for help.

Shoresresident, I just don't know why you continue to post on Punaweb knowing the nasty responses you will get!!! Now this is spilling over to attacks on your brother as everyone believes this is another one of your scams.
