I think I still understand geography. Even checked a map. California is not a Hawaiian island, and at least one TMT staffer is "phoning it in". This suggests that nothing substantive will be happening for quite some time.
That one staffer isn't phoning it in. She is still commuting to the Big Island once a month. In addition, they still have five staffers on this island,
which includes one they recently hired. In short, please check your facts before you spread unsubstantiated rumors.

kalakoa,
Please, you are making a mountain out of a molehill. TMT staffing numbers remain the same on the island. One person moving back to the mainland to be with her family, but still commuting here, does not mean:
"This suggests that nothing substantive will be happening for quite some time."
If anything, given Sandra Dawson will be commuting to the island regularly, the number of TMT staff on the island will increase.
Please, you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
LOL ... Sums up much Mr. Tom.

Perhaps; it might be more accurate to say that none of this will matter in the long run.

Questions here... Who appoints or votes in these folks in charge? Can we really trust this group or its intentions?
Funny, I've been asking myself the same questions. About a different group though.

Can we really trust ANYONE when a so called "state official" stamps a form and takes our money?
It's not the users here making a mountain out of a molehill, but the hawaii supreme court themselves may be the ultimate blame here.
Since, a state official probably rubber stamped our lots and housing permit that could be called into question at any time.
Like I said, maybe TMT forgot to pay off the official judge in the supreme court?

Oh, come on now. The Hawaii State Supreme Court made it's ruling. No need to make a libertarian conspiracy theory out of it.

I'm sure all these folks follow the rules themselves.
And none of them ever built something un-permited.
Hypocritical much?
