Supposedly B.J Penn had bought the bowling ally, or maybe it was his mother. Sure sounds like title guarantee may have also acted inappropriately. Maybe the city should take it over and turn it into a homeless shelter, wait they already have,jmo.

Ironically, Deitra was our escrow officer (or whatever they are called) for a property we were selling. The buyer signed all the forms, we signed all the forms, and everything was due to be filed with the court first thing the next morning. Then the buyer called up Deitra and put a halt to the whole thing. We were surprised that was even an option. Signing the forms and making all the legal commitments apparently doesn't matter until the court clerk stamps them.

You can potentially sue for breach of contract, but it's hard to find any damages in that kind of case and generally will cost more in lawyering than it's worth.
