Jeeze, after all these decades I find out I've been using 8 to mean eight and no one ever told me I was wrong...

Give the County a little more time. Next they’ll tell us if Fissure 6 is turned upside down, it’ll become Fissure 9. Better rename both of them while we’re at it.

Is the jury still deadlocked? The odds that natural climate variability can account for the magnitude of the temperature changes over the course of the satellite record are roughly five in a million, researchers report. - Science, July 19, 2018.

That'll be three fissures to rename because you can't have two fissure 9s. Fissure 69 is probably out of the question.

PS. What about fissure 13? That's unlucky. We have to find another name for that - that's four fissures that need renaming. This should keep the council busy for a few months.
