Vaccinated People Spread The Delta Variant, CDC Says
Hard to figga
This news story might contain the elements for a Venn Diagram showing the overlap of those who believe in conspiracy theories, people who can’t spell, and bad mug shots.

Moderna’ misspelled on Illinois visitor’s alleged fake vaccination card
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Another visitor to Hawaii has been arrested for allegedly using a fake vaccine card to fly to the islands.

On the card was one major error that was a red flag for authorities: “Moderna” was misspelled as “Maderna,” court documents allege.

The only time I was hospitalized was at HMC about 18 months ago for sepsis. I ended up in the secondary ICU but then ran into a problem - I couldn't be given a medicine because the hospital admin staff had misspelled my first name so their system wouldn't allow the nurse to administer the drug. It's not as if I have an uncommon first name, so I don't think it's beyond belief that things will be misspelled by medical staff. On the other hand, that clearly isn't the case here, but you might want to check your vax card and insurance to make sure your name is spelled correctly. And, if you're at HMC, the wristband you're given has your name spelled correctly.
Handy tip from a COVID conspiracy debunking website:

COVID-19 vaccines do not contain metals or any ingredients that can produce an electromagnetic field. You can test this by holding a magnet against a friend or family member who has been vaccinated. If the magnet falls when you release it, the person is not magnetic.

Of course, conspiracy nuts will now carry chunks of metal in their pockets so they can show people they've been magnetized ever since they took a dose of vaccine.
This was reported in today's Maui news:   https://www.mauinews.com/news/local-news...-clusters/

In one case, 12 fully vaccinated food service employees sang together at a karaoke bar, which is a high-risk activity for spreading COVID-19, the DOH said. Seven tested positive for the virus.

I'm not sure where you are trying to go with this. You also missed out the bit which mentioned they were unmasked and didn't socially distance themselves. Let's just be clear though - the Covid vaccines do not necessarily protect you from becoming infected. They offer more protection than if you are not vaccinated. However, what they do is make a significant difference as to whether you become seriously ill and/or become hospitalized or die. This is why it remains important, even if you are vaccinated, to wear a mask when appropriate and remain as far apart from others as you possibly can when you are in an enclosed space.

And just an example:

I was trying to go with the title of the thread:  Vaccinated People Spread The Delta Variant, CDC
Thank you Kimo. Makes sense.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Wow Kimo, I guess you better go get vaccinated before we spread it to you!

Please be comforted by the fact that you are talking about 12 people, when there are literally hundreds *a day* (888 yesterday) in Hawaii that come down with the virus. Studies are still ongoing but it appears the rate and duration of spread is much lower in the vaccinated.

The ICUs on our island are now full thanks to the *unvaccinated*. How will you feel when your ohana need help and there are no beds available?
