helicopters over Makuu

Does anybody know whatʻs going on?  Helicopters have been there for more than a half hour.  I havenʻt seen anything on the net about this yet.

IDK but the gate was open yesterday on the Hawaiian Shores,Beaches, etc. side of Railroad (that goes through to Makuu)...

I’m near there and haven’t heard any choppers.  Maybe they’re mapping the possible Puna bypass routes for Ilagan’s listening sessions?

they are also flying up and down Rd F  and Rd G from Rd ONE to Ainaloa for the last 3 days . Maybe looking for chop shops or pakalolo .
