a'smart' person leaves Hawaii to go Ive League kine U, then eventually comes back because they are 'smart' and want to live in paradise... like most of us do. Im sure not many here are forced to live here...
every single famous Hawaii kine haole descended of Missionary kook here went school on East Coast.. ie Yale was the most popular ie all the Bond family of Bond district Kolaha went there and came back... I can go on w/ 10++other (often hapa haole) families that did this ie Atherton Bingham Judd Smith Bishop Cooke Alexander Damien Wilder Shipman Carter Castle Hackfeld Baldwin Campbell Wilcox Lyman Robinson Sinclair Whitney Thurston etc etc
