"Oh my HiloJulie, you do go on, and on, and..."
Again, the complete lack of self-awareness. Mind boggling to be honest. And I won't even dare touch the "toxicity" of that comment!
"Because I would imagine that most "average," and even the most clever of HPP Owners are not aware that HPPOA's fiscal year runs from July to July and not January to January."
Again, the "fiscal year" is irrelevant due to the accrual basis of accounting with respect to revenues and expenses and cash.
Additionally, fiscal years run from January to December or July to June.
"You might be surprised at just how much the "average" person is not aware of. And surprise! Even the most clever miss details. It happens. It's why so many (even the clever) push on a door, instead of pulling on it, even though there is a HUGE sign saying pull (obviously graduates of Midvale's School for the Gifted)."
"That said, people can NEVER be given enough information which may be of use and benefit to them."
Nice to compare the residents of HPP to a cartoon that depicts people doing somewhat stupid things.
But at least there is YOU Patricia. You can go tell all the HPP residents to PULL instead of PUSH! Obviously, you think they're just a bunch of idiots.
Perhaps maybe the "Patricia School for the Uneducated" is in order. You could use "We Love The Poorly Educated" as a slogan, but there might be some copyright issues there.
Also, a school is clearly an allowable use of the 20-acre parcels when you think about it!

Nope, not me, HiloJulie, who thinks HPP owners are idiots. That's HPPOA's approach. As in, HPPOA gives HPP Owners just enough info (not all of it, out context, and/or incorrect) because HPPOA feels HPP owners are too clueless and too apathetic to ask.
You are correct about the fiscal years. I just like to think of the 1st to the 1st, instead of the 31st (or 30th if it is June) to the 1st. It All gets very confusing...
I'm all about giving info. ALL of it. Not just bits and pieces and leaving off the most important truths (lying by ommission is STILL lying and that is what HPPOA does).
I'm confident most people in HPP, in fact most people period, are smart enough to take info, process and decide for themselves what the truth is (of course, then there are the people who won't admit the truth at all even it's staring them in the face, because it does not jive with what they want- oh well).
That said, I don't have time to write a novella for you.
The facts are:
HPP road fee money which HPPOA collects, is due on the LAST DAY OF MARCH
HPPOA begins its new year in July (as in the money HPPOA is collecting now is not intended for use until
JULY)
If HPP Owners wish to pay their road fees using the internet they are able to. But this service will cost HPP Owners an additional 3%, which is $13.05 (on top of their road fees of $435)

Hey cool, you got a website. How wonderful! And, sure thing, from now on I'll address all my thoughts about your concerns there.
You are going to add a forum so we can chat about all things HPP, right? I am so looking forward to it. What forum package are you going to go with? I didn't really take to MyBB right off, but since we all have been using it I am settled in.. which one are you going with?
How was the GoDaddy site builder? Easy to use? Man, I am so happy you set that up. Now all of the folks like talk with you no need come to PW anymore, right? We can chat over on your site. So cool!
When will you have the forum up and running? Are you going to do webinars? Will you have a video library, or are you just going to link to YouTube? OMG, I have so many questions, but I suppose they're best left until you set up your forum. I mean, gee, it probably ain't kosher we talk about your website here. Mo bettah we wait until you get your's up and running!
Anyways, I am so excited for you. Thanks for letting us know, and good luck.

Not to people who know what they're talking about or are willing to listen to how accounting procedures work.
Seeing in that you have no desire to discuss anything I've presented, other to just repeat, yet again, over and over the same basic talking points as well as what's printed on each HPP road dues statement, I see no other point in trying to get you to discuss anything, especially after the page after page BEGGING discussion, but I will close with this response to your statement of and I quote:
"That said, I don't have time to write a novella for you."
I find that shocking to say the least, but somehow, I expect that one day, people will eventually be reading your "manifesto."
I am also sure you will "requote" your reply above to add something more, but not a novella!

Some of you need to pull in your claws. Supposing that is, that they are retractable.

MyManao, perhaps you should do a little thinking, reflecting about yourself?
Until the time you do that (ha, ha) how about you just stick to the topic- Roads.

Perhaps when you pull in your claws, others may do so as well.

I for one would like for you to explain how the operations of HPPOA are affected or are in any in any way, shape or form helped or hindered by the day of the week, month or year ANY resident pays their road fees invoice, outside of incurring late fees, if not paid on or before the due date.

Where is this question coming from? Did I ever say that paying road fees to HPPOA before the due date "helped or hindered" HPPOA?
What I said was that if HPP Owners needed to take their time, the road fees are not due until the last day of March. And that if HPP Owners wanted to wait until the last day of March, that should not be a problem for HPPOA, seeing as their new fiscal year does not begin until July.
