Well, another funny MTM skit - totally unscripted and again in front of a live studio audience, where Mary shows the "man" how it's done! She was one hell of a woman!
And watching paint dry is more fun than Patricia's posts!

Please note I'm trying my best to spell in American. No, still doesn't work for me. It's amusing, but that's about it. For me (and please remember this is just my opinion), the best US comedies were Frazier and Seinfeld. Then, we have comedies but are also serious as well. My choice there is M*A*S*HÂ but I think Boston Legal is still one of the most intelligent yet funniest series I have ever watched, whether it's from the US or UK. In the meantime, I never really watched "Friends" so I can't comment, but I know it was loved, and whenever I watched "Big Bang Theory," I often felt like throwing up. I'm sure there are other shows I can think of (e.g.,I enjoy watching The Andy Griffith Show on MeTV), but I have a hard time putting them above some of the best comedy from the UK. Have we stopped talking about HPP while I composed this? I hope so. |
