I've noticed that you regularly make posts answering questions asked by using and citing AI. Shall we?
GOOGLE SEARCH TERM:
"having more kids to get more welfare"
AI RESPONSE:
The idea that people have more children solely for welfare benefits is a persistent myth, with research showing that welfare benefits are too low to incentivize having more children and that birth rates among welfare recipients aren't significantly higher than the general population; some states even removed "family caps" (limits on benefits for additional children) because they didn't reduce births and sometimes hurt families, showing that welfare provides minimal support, not a significant income boost, according to this PBS article.
Key Findings on Welfare & Fertility:
Low Incentives: Welfare payments, including food stamps (SNAP), housing assistance, and WIC, are generally insufficient to cover the actual costs of raising children, making them poor financial incentives for having more kids.
No Significant Difference: Studies consistently find little to no link between welfare benefit levels and fertility rates; states with higher benefits don't necessarily have higher birth rates among recipients.
Family Caps Ineffective: Policies like "family caps" (which stop extra benefits for more children) were implemented in some states but have largely been repealed because they failed to reduce fertility and sometimes harmed families by reducing support, notes Governing and this CalMatters article.
Actual Birth Rates: The birth rates for women on welfare are often similar to or even lower than the general population, challenging the stereotype, according to PBS.
Why the Myth Persists:
Public Perception: The idea plays into stereotypes about welfare recipients, making people feel that a policy is being addressed, even if it's ineffective, according to this article from Scholars Strategy Network.
Focus on Cash vs. Total Support: While cash aid might increase slightly with children, the total support package (like Medicaid, WIC) rises, but still doesn't create a significant income stream, according to this Quora post.
In essence, research shows that welfare is generally not a financial driver for having more children and attempts to limit benefits for larger families haven't proven effective at changing reproductive behavior.

I fixed your opening sentence for you:
Nothing Everything you said is a bigoted about the statement and the ignorance of the reality of this is on your YOUR end, as usual.

Plenty of poor folk in Hawaii have one or more extra kids quite late in life. They certainly are not all by accident.
Plenty of people in Hawaii have seen flying saucers too. Hawaii also has multiple interplanetary and or interstellar landing facilities. Therefore, aliens must exist in Hawaii. So therefore i.e. probably Martians collecting government benefits as well since their outer space money wouldn’t be accepted as legal tender.

If you were as smart as you think you are, you would know that A.I. is biased towards responding to your questions and prompts based upon your previous interactions. You wanted A.I. to give you an answer based upon people don't have more kids to gain more welfare, so that is what you got.
Be nice and polite to it and it will be polite back to you. Be mean and nasty and it will respond the same.

Can't put my finger on just exactly who thinks and talks like this, but for some reason, orange, lots and lots of orange, comes to mind.
At any event, on the oft chance, I'm just wondering, for a guy who thinks he is so smart, could you at least provide any proof - even from AI, that can remotely back up your assertion that women have more kids to get more welfare? I am sure your AI responses will be so kind and gentle unlike my mean and nasty AI responses. Any proof other than your "trust me bro" would be greatly appreciated.

I agree. I will let your ingrained bigotry and systemic racist beliefs shine like yesterdays Hilo sun!
Now off to go round up all those mean and nasty Martians as HOTPE points out. They too are all over the goddamned place sucking up all our government benefits.

"You sure are toxic."
How?
So, you claiming that women on welfare have more babies to get more welfare, which is totally unsupported by any fact based information is somehow "nice and polite," but me refuting such a claim with fact based information somehow makes me toxic?
I would love to see you factually prove your claim that women on welfare have more babies to get more welfare.

AI says that AI doesn't do this. What evidence do you have that it does, and how would it remember who it's interacting with?

"Does A.I. respond according to your history with it?"
1. Conversation History (Short-Term Memory)
Within a single chat session, A.I. models store the previous prompts and responses to maintain context and coherence.
Contextual Relevance: This "short-term memory" allows the AI to refer to earlier topics, answer follow-up questions, and ensure the conversation flows naturally. It helps the model "understand" what has been discussed so far.
Personalization within the Chat: The AI will tailor its tone or style to mirror yours during the conversation. For example, if you use casual language, the AI might adopt a slightly less formal tone.
2. User History & Preferences (Long-Term Memory)
Responses from some consumer-facing AI products can be personalized based on a user's general account history, if the user has enabled those settings. This might involve analyzing search history, location data, or interests to provide more relevant or enhanced answers. Providers typically offer privacy settings, allowing users to manage or delete their activity data or disable personalization features.
3. Training Data
An AI is fundamentally shaped by its training data, which includes information from the internet. The training data introduces patterns and potential biases into the model's default responses. Some research suggests that AI chatbots are optimized to maximize user engagement and satisfaction. This can involve providing information that aligns with user expectations or existing biases.
The AI uses interaction history as data to predict the most statistically probable and useful next response.
Then there is little gem, that Sam Altman mentions regarding the cost of being polite, to A.I.
Sam Altman responded to a user on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, who was curious how much money OpenAI has lost in electricity costs from people showing good manners to their AI models.
"Tens of millions of dollars well spent--you never know," was the CEO's response.
Kurtis Beavers, a director on the design team for Microsoft Copilot, said in a Microsoft WorkLab memo that "using basic etiquette when interacting with AI" helps generate "respectful, collaborative outputs."
Beavers said in the memo that generative AI also mirrors the levels of professionalism, clarity and detail in the prompts you provide. Beavers added that being polite to your AI chatbot "not only ensures you get the same graciousness in return, but it also improves the AI's responsiveness and performance."

Well, when put into that context, one could claim that my "mean and nasty" search history has saved a butt load of electricity thus lowering MY carbon footprint while your "nice and polite" search history is costing a ton more in electricity thus raising YOUR carbon footprint tremendously.
At any event, it still does not change FACTS.
