You're quite right John. By the way it's amazing how opinionated some are who don't even live in the state isn't it. LOL.

We were never concerned with the Geothermal plant. When we were looking in Leilani, we also looked a small development called Lanipuna Gardens, paved, county water, just 3 streets, lovely neighbors, nice sized lots.
We did spend a lot of time at each of these subdivisions, meeting and visiting with it's friendly residents.

Ultimately we decided to be half way between Hilo and Volcano for many reasons one being elevation!
