I'd be all for civil union except I suspect it's the "stalking horse" for same sex marriage at which might create the breech for polygamous marriage?
I'm agnostic not just about religion but most things especially what I read on the internet which seems to ignite the political divisions. I reckon most people use the internet to sek out like minded posters to confirm to themselves what they want to believe.
Since I consider myself libertarian but not a true atheist libertarian maybe the question is why does the state sanction traditional marriage? Hasn't traditional marriage been central to civilization from "In the beginning" as well as has religion when life was more tenuous. So civization can ween itself off religion when civilization evolve to more established and prosperous point?
Other people want to make friends- I just want to make money.
