It is as credible as any theory. I met her once when she was Mayor and the thought crossed my mind that she was gay. Not that it mattered to me then or now especially. It is her business essentially.
Very disappointing that she vetoed. I had hoped that Hawaii would do the right thing, both for the gay community and for Hawaii. Civil Unions have no effect on my marriage. I have been married once, and intend to stay that way.
When I was a kid watching the civil rights movement and Viet Nam going on I never would have guessed that we would have progressed so far in my lifetime. Still a ways to go and I surely hope we don't find our society backing up.
