What do you think the overturn of Prop 8 in California will have on our civil unions bill the next time?
I find it interesting that a judge appointed by a republican (Reagan)to his first judicial position, and Bush to his federal judicial position, and who is a self proclaimed libertarian, and although has been accused of being insensitive to gay rights, made a straight up decision based on the law. The actual law. not lobbying.
I mean this guy could pretty much irritate all the groups equally - Rep, Dems, Gays, religious right. I like a judge that has all the basis covered! Good for you Judge Walker!
