Kona Brewing beer isn't made in Hawaii!
#1
I recently found out that the Kona brewing company makes almost all their beer on the mainland. They only brew tiny amounts on Hawaii to satisfy the facade that they are a Hawaiian company. 100% of their beer sold here available in bottles is made on the mainland, and most of the beer in kegs is too.

Due to pressure from Maui Brewing Company which is 100% Hawaiian (including manufacture of the cans they are sold in) Kona Brewing has begrudgingly agreed to list on the label (not yet released) some of the other locations where their beer is made on the mainland, though neglecting to mention that none of the beer in the bottle is EVER made in Hawaii.

I find it ironic that they are claiming to be a "Kona" company when Kona farmers have fought so many legal battles to maintain that Kona coffee is grown in the district, yet a mainland company that is hijacking the Kona name for beer production does it without any consequences.
