Thanks so much. I've checked Craigslist and have asked around. Right now, he is our new friend. Got him a lovely cage and many toys to play with. He's a sweetie.
I am going to edit to add that upon looking for a cage, we found some that were outrageous expensive! Stacey's only had small ones and the medium ones were over $30. Pahoa Feed had some good sized ones but they were about $50. Too rich for my blood. So a local friend told me of a gentleman that sells birds in Hilo. He also has fishes and supplies. He is up Komohana way - near Ainaola. We got a lovely, large cage for $29. Can't beat that! He lives on Uilani just off Komohana...in case anyone is interested.
