Yurtgirl, You are unclear on the concept of insulation. There is nothing about a well insulated house that precludes natural ventilation - the opposite occurs. My own home is heavily insulated and depends completely on natural ventilation for my comfort. Insulation does make natural ventilation easier to achieve and maintain.
