It is quite a bit more money and doesn't spread as far, that's why a lot of people compromise with cinder. But Kopohocat is right. It can be a chore and if you have money, you'll be a lot happier with gravel in the long run. The way we have done it for now is to lay cinder in the drive and then gravel and grass all around the house. That way it cleans off before you get to the door. Call Sanford's and have them price their largest load of both. It's going to be at least a couple hundred dollars different.
