Just an update - I think I've put most of my 2010 Mauna Kea pictures on the flickr slide show now, so it's pretty much complete. Many of you will have already seen most of the pictures but there are a few new ones (dialup users, sorry, the slide show is probably a little too large for you).

2010 was a significant year; in December we switched to remote operations meaning our observatory (UKIRT) is now operated remotely from sea level. We had to do this due to the financial mess the UK is in and was the only way we could stay open. This means I won't be going to the summit of Mauna Kea very often in the future so the pictures are going to dry up a bit.
Anyway, for those who have seen the slide show before, I hope you enjoy the additional shots and for anyone who hasn't seen it before, I hope you enjoy the view I used to have from the office!
