WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama issued a plea for restraint in cyberspace after meeting with national security aides Saturday to assess punaweb's and punaonline's response to widespread protest threatening the stability of the internet.
A White House statement said Obama "reiterated our focus on opposing name calling and urging restraint, supporting universal rights, and supporting concrete steps that advance good manners within forum boards."
From a Honolulu Star Advertiser story (I may have paraphrased a little)
