The value of lurking
#2
Right on, Carol. There is such potential here for real discourse and communication between neighbors and community. It's why a lot of us keep checking back and trying. Rob's efforts are appreciated, but as adults, we should be able to apply basic, respectful communication skills and minimize the need for him to be the 'hall monitor'.

Things often get squirrely on this forum, and while differences of opinion are healthy and necessary, abuse is not. Abuse hurts. Don't we all know that?? Whether you're anonymous or not, treat people how you want to be treated. Make the most of this phenomenal tool! Don't cheapen it with baiting and reckless accusations. There's more good than bad. Thanks for all the good puna webbers!
